By profession, I’m an economist but by passion, I’m a floral designer.
What’s your favorite flower?
What’s your favorite color for roses?

Valentine’s or Mother’s Day?
Always Mother’s Day
What is the moment when you’re usually the most inspired?
Mmm… when I’m working alone
Now, let’s get to the deeper questions!
How did your passion for flowers begin & when did you realize you wanted to work in the floral industry?
Once, I was looking for a floral arrangement for my mom and I couldn’t find anything that inspired me. That was when I realized that what was offered in the Colombian market wasn’t good enough or at least I knew it could be much better.
Tell us about the story behind your business – Flores Gracia –
One day I began to think about the importance of having something of my own, something that would represent some part of who I am. That’s how Gracia emerges, as a need to express myself through something other than words.
What has been your greatest achievement with Flores Gracia?
There are many, I’ve been in this industry for almost four years and each one is enjoyed in a different way. But recently I liked working with Mystic for their annual photoshoot, it was a big project where we were able to create different seasonal compositions.
Tell us about this experience with Mystic’s photoshoot
It was wonderful being able to work with a quality like the one found in Mystic’s Flowers. It was a great opportunity to design new compositions, experiment with color palettes and play with trendy ideas.
What is your favorite Mystic flower?
It is not just a flower, but the whole Tinted Collection.
Which would you say is the most important trend for 2023?
Actually, no floral foam, just clean techniques.
Is there a trend you would like to see gone forever?
Symmetric floral arrangements.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself being much more sensitive to this universe of entrepreneurship and flowers.
What do you want to be known for?
I’m not keen on the idea of being known, but I do love that when someone sees my work they feel that there is a lot of Grace (Gracia) in it.
